Resources is how an organization allocates human, financial and physical resources to accomplish goals and objectives. Each resource of the organization must be focused on and allocated to achieve customer (internal or external) satisfaction. To accomplish your organization's purpose the need for any and all resources must be tied back to the organization's goals.
